Understand how certain behaviors may have developed and history lesson on how the gay culture originated. This culture has always seemed mysterious as if we gays were hiding something. I am a gay man brought up in small town of 4,500 people in a middle to upper class family with 6 siblings. I studied Spanish and Sociology at Western Michigan University. I got the travel bug while in college after living in Guatemala my Junior year. I have been to over 60 countries, living amongst the people, studying their culture. For the past 30 years, I developed a successful dog boarding, breeding, grooming business, because of my love for animals. I now live on a small horse farm, 5 miles outside the beautiful Lake Michigan gay resort of Saugatuck (one of the largest in the country), hence my interest and concerns with the gay culture of today.
